Revving up in Agra for mens health
Dressed up in their formal best, over 90 men and women rode through the streets of Agra to raise awareness about prostate cancer and mens mental health at the recently organised The Distinguished Gentlemans Ride. The ride, which was started in Sydney, takes place in over 600 cities across 95 countries in the world.In Agra, it kicked off from the Agra Club, passed through MG Road, Diwani Crossing and Sadar Bazaar, before coming back to the club. The event was flagged off by Col S Kunzroo, Secretary of Agra Club, and Prashant Kumar, SP, Traffic , As Reported By TOI.
According to the Newspaper,Ravi Kumar NG, District Magistrate, was the chief guest at the event and Amit Pathak, SSP, Agra, was the guest of honour.Riding for a causeAfter the ride concluded, oncologist Dr Sandeep Agarwal and Dr Ravi Pachauri, President of Indian Medical Association , gave speeches on prostate cancer and mens health. The ride was organised by the members of WeRoyal Riders , a city-based motorcycle club. Sanjay Baijal, a member of the club, said, The dress code is one of the main reasons behind the popularity of this ride.
