The Blood Moon eclipse will pass over the UK in the morning hours of Monday, January 21. On this day, the Full Moon will travel through the fifth astrological sign in the constellation Leo the Lion. On the same day, astrologers expect the Sun to enter the constellation Aquarius after spending a month in the zodiac of Capricorn. During the eclipse, the Moon in Leo will dip into the darkest shadow cast by the Earth and the Sun.
The lunar eclipse will cause the Moon to temporality vanish from sight before red sunlight brilliantly illuminates it.
Astrologers consider total eclipses of this magnitude an incredibly profound experience.
The Blood Moon eclipse will play out at roughly zero-degrees and 52 minutes in Leo.
The Sun will also oppose the Moon at about zero-degrees and 52 minutes in Aquarius because they will sit in a direct line from one another.
According to astrologer Annie Heese of CafeAstrology.com, the Blood Moon will most strongly affect people born between 19 to 29-degrees to any of the four cardinal signs.
The four cardinal signs are Aries the Ram, Cancer the Crab, Libra the Scales and Capricorn the Goat.
The eclipse will also present itself as a time of opportunity and change.
Astrologer Jamie Partridge of AstrologyKing.com believes the lunar eclipse will have a strong effect on the planet Uranus when the two bodies form a “challenging square aspect”.
A square aspect is formed by any two bodies connected on the horoscope charts by a 90-degree angle.
The Blood Moon-Uranus square might bring unexpected events into your life, which could result in anxiety and uncertainty.
Mr Partridge said: “Life may seem more hectic and fast-paced than before.
“Lunar eclipse January 2019 falls in an area of the sky with only dim stars.
“However, brighter stars align with the Sun to give the confidence and courage to accept change.”
In order to take advantage of the energies radiating from the eclipse, be prepared to harness your patience, self-control and keep an open mind to new opportunities on the horizon.
Any changing conditions which might arise as a result of the Blood Moon will require a bit of adaptability on your part.
Lunar eclipses tend to affect horoscopes in the same way Full Moons do but in a much stronger way.
Astrologer Marina of Darkstar astrology, on the other hand, believes the eclipse’s energies will focus on family, inheritance and personal independence.
The zodiac expert said: “So the lunar eclipse, because it’s in Leo decan one, carries a theme of ancestral connections.
“The Moon doesn’t have any special power in this decan but it does well in acquiring material wealth.
“This may be through material inheritance through an inherited character trait or talent.
“Whatever the case, family loyalty and values are tested at this time as is the importance of passing something of value to one’s descendants.”
