Balkh Legends Became 1st Champion Of Afganistan Premier League 2018

Balkh Legends won the title of Afghanistan Premier League 2018 with help of tremendous performance of Chris Gayle and deadly bowling of Qais Ahmed. They defeated Kabul Zwanan in the final match and clinched the trophy. They become first champion of Afghanistan Primer League.

However, beginning was not as nice as they lost two quick wickets at mere 6 runs but Universal Boss Chris Gayle continued his swashbuckling batting form other ends. He smashed consecutive fourth half century (82, 73,51 & 56).

Earlier, Kabul Zwanan posted 132 run in 20 overs at loss of 9 wickets. Luke Rohchi and Hazratullah Zazai made 9 and 10 runs while Wayne Parnell & Colin Ingram made 21 runs each. Javed Ahmadi remained highest scorer, who hit 32 off 19 deliveries lashed 2 sixes and 2 boundaries.
