One of the most awaited nights at the Lucknow Mahotsav was on Tuesday in which popular singer Guru Randhawa performed. Making a grand entry on the stage on his popular track 'High Rated Gabru', Randhawa made his fans go crazy. Before starting the performance, Randhawa said, “Main jab batata hoon ki mujhe Lucknow waale itna pyaar karte hain toh mere mummy-daddy kehte hain ki unka thank you bolna, toh aap sab ka bohot-bohot thank you.”
While performing in the Punjabi Night at the mahotsav, Guru Randhawa gave a rocking performance and sang many of his hit songs that made the crowd dance with him. He also dedicated a song to Lucknowites by adding few lines into his hit number 'Lucknow De Kinne Marde Ne, Te Kinne Pehla Tu Maare'. His fans too started singing with Guru and when he saw one of his fans holding a sketch of him, Randhawa invited the boy on stage and also clicked a selfie with him.

However, the entertaining night took an unwanted turn for some time when this action of the singer prompted others too broke the barricade and tried come near him. thankfully, the policemen, who were posted there were quick to control the situation. But a few persistent ones still managed to reach up to the stage. The police then had to resort to a mild lathi charge and stop the entry of any more people in the pandal. And although the stage was surrounded by security personnel to protect Randhawa, he made a quick exit from the stage, followed by a frenzied crowd who ran after him calling out his name.
