Preity Zinta gets nostalgic on 19th anniversary of Mahesh Babu's Raja Kumarudu

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta was one of the sought-after heroines in the south when she started off. She has built a loyal fan base in the south, thanks to her Telugu films she did during her formative years as an actress.

Recently, Preity got nostalgic and shared a picture of her with Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu and producer Raghavendra Rao. The picture was shot at the launch of their film Raja Kumarudu, 19 years ago.

She also shared a video of her and Mahesh Babu dancing and stated that she had sleepless nights learning Telugu.

It is to be noted that Raja Kumarudu was her fourth film in her career and second Telugu film after Premante Idera, which had Venkatesh playing the lead role. The film was a huge hit and in 2017, it was dubbed in Tamil as Ivan Oru Thunichalkaran.

Before these two films, she had two releases - Dil Se and Soldier in Hindi. She was a fresh face in B-Town and T-Town back then.

Raja Kumarudu won Akkineni award for Best Home-viewing feature film. It was also dubbed in Hindi as Prince No 1.
