Preity Zinta withdraws 2014 molestation charge against Ness Wadia after he apologized

Preity Zinta, who had accused her former boyfriend and entrepreneur Ness Wadia of molestation in 2014, has given her consent to withdraw the case.

Yes, as per a report, the actress gave her nod after Ness apologised to her. For the ones who have not been following the case, the incident happened in the year 2014, Preity had filed a complaint against Wadia (co-owner of Kings XI Punjab) saying that he abused, molested and threatened her during an IPL match.

She had alleged that Ness was abusing the team staff over ticket of the match. Preity who was seated in the Garwarre Pavillion tried to calm him down but the man abused and manhandled her.

Almost four years after the incident, Mumbai Police had file a charged sheet in the month of Feb. However, now as per sources Preity has withdrawn the charge after receiving an apology from Ness Wadia

Well, since both the parties have decided to close the chapter mutually, we hope that the two move on without keeping any grudges against each other.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Preity will be seen in Neeraj Pathak's directorial Bhaiaji Superhit. Bankrolled by Chirag Dhariwal, the film also features Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Mukul Dev, Mithun Chakraborty, Arshad Warsi, Evelyn Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi among others. It will hit the silver screens on October 26, 2018.
