Review : Hello Guru Prema Kosame
Ram and Anupama Parameswaran’s romantic entertainer, Hello Guru Prema Kosame has hit the screens today. Let’s see whether it impresses us or not.
Story:
Due to family pressures, Sanju(Ram), an easy go fun loving guy from Kakinada lands in Hyderabad to settle down in his career. As per his uncle’s (Posani) guidelines, Sanju approaches Viswanath (Prakash Raj) and stays in his house. There he falls for Viswanath’s daughter Anu (Anupama) and tries to impress her. Will Sanju succeed in winning Anu’s love? What will Viswanath do the course of time? Will he accept Sanju as his son-in-law? To know this, you have to watch the film in the theater near you.
Analysis:
Director Trinadha Rao Nakkina, who earlier made successful films in the typical Mama-Alludu formate has once played it safe by picking this beaten to death genre as his core point. Though the storyline is ages old, the treatment is a bit fresh and has an entertaining narration throughout the film. Performances wise, Ram is good in his role as a fun-loving and youthful guy. His settled performance and energetic screen presence are an added advantage for the film.
Heroine Anupama is cute and did her part convincingly. Her girl-next-door looks are impressive. Second heroine Pranitha is okay in her limited screen presence. Not to forget, Prakash Raj has once again excelled in his role as a dignified person and responsible father. His scenes with Ram came out very well and can be termed as a big asset for the film. Visually songs are good on screen but the background score is not up to mark.

Verdict:
All in all, Hello Guru Prema Kosame is a time pass flick which has enough fun elements in it. Though the routine storyline is a major drawback for the film, director cleverly managed to narrate the proceedings in an entertaining manner making it a must watch flick for this festival weekend.
