Actress Akanksha Puri, who shifted to TV after a Bollywood stint, has finally opened about her relationship status. The Vighnaharta Ganesha actor recently came out in open about dating Splitsvilla winner, Paras Chhabra. While earlier, there were rumors of the two dating, it died down when Chhabra was rumoured to be dating TV actress, Pavitra Punia. However, seems like their relationship fizzled out as soon as it had started and lovebirds, Akanksha and Paras got back together. For the first time, Akanksha, who has never spoken publicly about her relationships, opened up to us about her relationship with Paras in an exclusive chat. It s been two years since we are together, the actress reveals, adding, I m a very secretive about my personal life. I never spoke about our relationship; however, Paras was open about it. We were together for a long time. However, my private nature got between us. This became a little issue between us, as he misconstrued my secretiveness as I m not sure of the relationship. He started having trust issues as I used to behave different with him in the public as well.

Akanksha reveals that owing to all the drama, Paras told her to take some time and be sure of the relationship. 'Be ready enough to tell the whole world,' is what he told me. We then decided to take a break. Post that, he was looking for a rebound.
After her breakup with Akanksha, the lad got in a relationship with Naagin 3 actress, Pavitra Punia. While the duo constantly denied their relationship, their social media posts had a different tale to narrate. Their mushy PDA was a validation that the Splitsvilla contestants were indeed in love. Akanksha continues, That s when he found this female. Although, he was quite clear that he wasn t looking for anything serious. And he came across a girl who had the same view. When asked if the girl in question was Pavitra, Puri accepted it. He used to be continuously in touch with me. He used to send their photos only to irritate me. During the four months, when the two were on break, the actress realised that she was missing out on something. Obviously I was missing him. I realised that I need to be sure of it.
