EXCLUSIVE! Helly Shah to play the lead in Prateek Sharma's next on Star Plus
TV actress Helly Shah who was last seen in Colors' popular show Devanshi, will return to the TV soon. A source reveals to us EXCLUSIVELY that the actress has signed a new show that is in the making for Star Plus. Producer Prateek Sharma under his production firm LSD Films, is working on a daily soap for the above mentioned GEC. Although the project is currently in the initial stages, it seems the makers have finalized the leading lady.
An insider confides, "Helly fitted the character perfectly. She has already signed the papers. For those who are unaware, Prateek who has been in the industry for a long time as a creative person, made his production debut with Sony TV's Ekk Deewana Tha. The revenge saga featured Namik Paul, Donal Bisht and Vikram Singh Chauhan in the lead and was popular amongst the masses. This is said to be one of his ambitious projects which no one knew about. Meanwhile, he is also working on Zee TV's Mohini, featuring Ankit Siwach in the lead. .
Helly has been in the news for being considered for many shows. Interestingly, the TV actress made her TV debut with Star Plus' Zindagi Ka Har Rang...Gulaal. With this yet to be titled daily, the actress will return to the channel. The actress rose to fame after being a part of several shows namely Devanshi and Swaragini. We tried getting in touch with Prateek Sharma for the same but we are yet to get any reply from him. Apparently, the show would soon kickstart and go on floors.
