Kapurthala man is Addl District & Sessions Judge in Delhi

Hargurvarinder Singh Jaggi, 38 has been selected as an Additional District and Sessions Judge in Delhi. Gurbachan Singh Jaggi, father of Hargurvarinder said he wanted his son to become IAS, but his son always wanted to do become a judge to serve people.
Jaggi happens to be the first differently-abled person to join the Delhi Higher Judicial Services (DHJS). Though Hargur Jaggi was born with a congenital birth defect in his left arm but he has never let it be a stumbling block in his life. Hargur Jaggi is a perfect example of how to turn obstacles into opportunities and how one should never get trapped into self-pity and victimisation.
Jaggi had done his graduation in BA Public Adminstration from DAV College Chandigarh. In the year 2003, Hargur Jaggi completed his LLB degree from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, Delhi University. Later on Jaggi joined the bar in 2003 and was enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi. He graduated with a Masters of Law from Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA in the year 2006.—TNS
