Lalit Grand Palace organises 'Royal Kitchen of Rajasthan' in Srinagar
Hotel Lalit Grand Palace here is hosting ‘Royal Kitchen of Rajasthan’ ethnic food festial of the desert state in Srinagar.
The festival will conclude on July 15. During this food festival authentic Rajasthani dishes are on display such as Ker Sangri, Papad, Mangodi ki Sabzi, Rajwada, Murgh, Safed Maas, Baati churma etc.
For this festival, hotel management has flown chefs from Rajasthan led by Sous Chef Saini from the lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur to give authentic taste of traditional Rajasthani culinary to people in Kashmir.
“The showcase of these royal recipes of Rajasthan at Srinagar is a part of larger campaign called Chef Pop Ups, recently announced by Lalit Hotel Palaces and resorts across India. These food fests are an attempt to exchange some unique popular and largely favourite delicacies made by the expert chefs of different cities where the Lalit operates,” said Saini.
The food festival was the idea of Chief Managing Director, Lalit Group, Jyotsna Suri and Executive Director Keshav Suri’s to promote the ‘good food culture’ in Valley,” said an executive of the Hotel.
He said unlike other common food fests the Chef Pop-Ups is aimed to given an opportunity to food lovers to explore different outlets be it an all day dining or a speciality restaurant.
The Royal Kitchens of Rajasthan is hosted during lunch and dinner time at Chinar, the multi cuisine restaurant with an alfresco setting at Lalit Grand Palace in Srinagar.
